Welcome to the official website of the Beta Tau Lambda Chapter, the 162nd House of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Since the chapter’s inception on December 4, 1940, we have been committed to serving the Greater Fort Worth and Tarrant County community. A legacy has been built based on that commitment and effectively carried out through the work of legendary BTL brothers whose work over the course of decades has improved the economic and social condition of our communities in Fort Worth and Tarrant County.

Beta Tau Lambda builds community through targeted philanthropy—volunteer drives, fundraisers, and service projects in education, housing stability, and local health. Partnering with nonprofits, using transparent funding and volunteer training, the chapter ensures contributions meet real needs and build local capacity. Regular feedback—forums, evaluations, joint planning—and mentorship link members to long-term service. This integrated approach strengthens social ties, civic responsibility, and neighborhood resilience.
